Crean wasn't winning enough or up to where we thought we should be. Competing for championships and I agree. But we suck way worse now. We're not competitive and that is sad Sent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk The issue is Crean should have never been extended in summer of 2012. PERIOD. HoosierX Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Honestly when it was close at the end, did anyone on this board think we were going to win? So predictable. As good as Race and Trayce are, neither is remotely clutch. bird4par, kottke, HoosierAloha and 3 others 5 1 Quote

coonhounds Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Maybe we need to go back to an offensive minded coach. Have gone for defensive minds and the offense has been terrible. Sent from my SM-A515U1 using TapatalkMaybe someone who can coach both and win ball games. That's what I pray for. Not giving up on Woodson but it looks grim. That's being really kind. It looks really bad cause we have all seen this a few times now. Sent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk Quote
HoosierAloha Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Excuses will be made, players outs, refs, lucky bounces, wind blowing against us, blah blah blah We didn't put in the work over the summer, reinforce in the cupcake season, and have it drilled in by conference season. This loss stings because we should have had it but not taking care of business in games earlier set the stage. Ditto for the individual games. Sure, we "haven't learned how to win" because we haven't learned how to play the right way. That goes for the first 4 minutes and the last 4 minutes. Maybe one year we'll figure it out and make the dance. Although, we do have a jabbers chance at purdoodo and in the Big 1.o tourney. We'll shed some players, hype up the returning players for more than they are, and place any transfers or recruits on 1st team All-Big 1.o before they step foot on the campus. We'll be shocked when those weaknesses are glaring early in the season and we'll get to discuss who is a fan again. Good times! thebigweave, 94Bulldog, WayneFleekHoosier and 4 others 7 Quote

Could have been interesting to consider where IU could have gone if that $10M offer for Stevens was truly a thing. Surely could have used some of that money for Beard, Oats or others on the wish list. Just stewing and considering my what ifs None of those guys where comming. Hoosier Guy Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Just bad. I don’t know how IU just can’t get out of its own way. It’s pathetic. Maybe this program is dead Quote

I thought same as you but unfortunately these coaches need security to recruit at a high level.
