If Archie was still our coach and our team played like they forgot to take their much-needed anti-depressants? Yes. Hovadipo and woodenshoemanHoosierfan 2 Quote

Don't be so negative I hate that we close out the season on the road against Purdoo. There ain't no way we're winning that game. Hopefully we have a high seed already wrapped up before that one Stuhoo 1 Quote

If we're doing well up to that point Mike Fu***ng Woodson s gonna be one fired up old man for that locker room pre-game. HoosierHoops1, cybergates and Dave from Dayton 3 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 21-10? Trying to be realistic. Definitely back-loaded, it will be hard not to get too hyped if they start really fast. Definitely not a really tough non-con. Would be nice to really take advantage of a weak schedule and a lot of home games. The B1G will always be a huge test. Woodson will be heavily tested. Home court advantage will likely be back in full effect. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

IU Scott Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 I think 23-8 and will start 13-1 with the only loss at Syracuse Quote
rcbowla Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 20-11 is my predictionSent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk Quote
NashvilleHoosier Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Anything less than 20-11 here would be disappointing to me. I'll go with 22-9. That stretch from January 13th through 23rd feels like it will be pivotal. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

Season ticket holders were given the option to request up to 4 seats for the CRC with their season ticket renewals. Once IU’s seat allotment is allocated to season ticket holders based on priority point standing remaining tickets will be put on sale to the general public through the ticket office. I’m not sure when that will be but surely by mid-November? Many have had success buying tickets sooner by going through the other 3 schools’ ticket offices as demand not nearly as high. Notre Dame ticket office is probably the best bet. raorIU 1 Quote

CS2 Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 I like this schedule for a couple of reasons. The pre conf "cupcakes" are not quite as cupcakey as they often are, most are reasonable games. The name brand opponents we have are not at the top of their cycles so while they are tests, they are not killer opponents early. The BIG will be tough no matter who we play, when or how many times. go iu bb 1 Quote

That's how I look at it, too. Overall, a weaker non-conference schedule than many years since the top teams aren't as strong but more balanced since the weakest teams aren't as weak. I think it's a good schedule for a team that hasn't been to the NCAA in years since it's a chance to get wins while also allowing for the adjustment process that will be needed considering the roster turnover and a new coaching staff including a head coach who has not coached a college game before. By the end of the season the SOS will be fine from conference play. CS2 1 Quote
