Ranked around 70. Easily their best player. Hopefully JHS can follow a similar path minus getting hurt JHS might have it in him but is the program, teammates willing to let him? I think you'd agree the Creighton situation is a little different than where we are right now. Uspshoosier 1 Quote

And In crunch time on defense he leaves them in. At the very least, sub offense for defense and vise versa. Anything is better than watching them get torched every night Quote
MikeRoberts Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 I just expected more fundamentals. Motion, screening, cutting, and it’s not there. Players that can guard or refuse to and don’t work to get open on offense dominate the MPG. it’s lunacy Leo, Josh and HoosierAloha 3 Quote

Last night I saw a bunch of helpers on the court but only Johnson seems willing to make crunch time plays. If we have these same players, they're definitely willing to give the alpha role to somebody else. IUc2016 1 Quote
maharkn Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Is Fife being groomed as the heir apparent? The only thing with fife is can he recruit? He really needs to start pulling some players in before he gets the job. Don't think he is tied to any of the recruits we are going after. Sent from my SM-A515U1 using Tapatalk RoadRage 1 Quote
AKHoosier Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Next year looks grim. We'll probably once again be picked to finish in the bottom half of the conference, 8-10 range if we lose TJD and Race. Let's just hope someone is left over in the scrap heap after UK, Kansas, AZ get who they want. Quote

He's recruited high major players in the Midwest, knows the B1G, and is young and hungry. Just playing devil's advocate, I'd like for us to get the best person possible whenever the time comes regardless of where they went to school. RoadRage 1 Quote

He is athletic enough to guard SF/wing type, and probably better than Kopp or Stewart can quite honestly. The bigs rotation would be tough if you did this because TJD and Durr can't shoot too far out, but Durr actually showed decent touch. BtownStrength 1 Quote

Sat at the end of the bench and was in Woody's ear quite a bit in crunch time. Maybe Rutgers was his scout? Idk. Count me out on the heir apparent deal though. If we're gonna play the "good ole boys" game beyond this regime, Dolson isn't gonna work. And I really want him to. go iu bb and lillurk 2 Quote

I'd be willing to give him a 2nd shot at it (if it comes to that; hopefully it doesn't and I'm not yet convinced that it will) but would also take the pen away as soon as he tries signing another old IU guy. lillurk and Chris007 2 Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 My sources have been telling me that Dolson has his eyes on Steve Alford if Woody doesn’t work out (or does work out and then retires). Quote
