A lot of people would not be happy with McCollum. Refer back to Goodman’s tweet about McCollum. For the most part, it wasn’t a positive reaction. He’s a “so-so” hire to a lot of us for reasons already addressed relentlessly so no point of rehashing .

I would not be happy with that hire. That would be a very big letdown hire for me.

No shade, just seems a bit misleading and doesn’t inspire confidence that anything happened if there are still a bunch of names floating around.

If there’s a crowd outside the Vatican and white smoke billows out but then they don’t actually know who it is, there’d probably be some confusion from the masses.
