I think if it was going to be Brad Stevens as the next IU coach, we would have heard about it by now.  I don't buy the "They would want to respect the current IU coach and team....."  I think it's going to be Chris Beard.  Dude is a winner.  I'd be happy with Iowa St.'s coach, Arizona's coach, Drew, or the Texas Tech coach.  Let's get this thing going and have IU start winning regularly again.

Unfortunately IMO there's just a small plurality of fans with pretty bad narcissism so they don't get when to let something go. Or they think they're proving some kind of point that everyone else needs to understand. Bizarre behavior, really.

One of the few most would support would be Beard? He is likely the most divisive hire IU could make. People seem to feel very strongly about him one way or the other. So I'm pretty sure you're wrong that most would support him.
