At first I said no thanks to Ben M. As I stated here but after watching him being interviewed several times and watching coach Tony A’s breakdown on him, I think he’d do just fine here. I like the guy!

He may not be the big name "home run" hire folks wanted, but there's two things I'd love about that hire:

1) He's a damn good ball coach

2) We'd be stealing him from Iowa

Someone please explain why Billy Donovan is a viable candidate his Bulls teams suck and how long has he been out of college coaching.

Would take McCollom or Devries over him all day.

There is more than 1 person. DD is so far down that list though especially considering he didn’t even make the tournament which is why this hire would be even possible right now. That is not going to instill a winning mentality in any fan. There is considerably better hires that would at least give a sense of winning, and not the fact they are sitting at home already like we are.

Plus, hasn't Rick Pitino always talked positively about the IU job in general, and isn't Donovan close to Pitino? Not that it necessarily matters, but Donovan could see the IU job as a good one to have if he's going to go back into the college ranks.

We need a big name. Imo to handle this job. Mid major or low name power conference dudes will get eaten alive

DD is at home because UNC's AD was the chair of the committee and season ending injuries, not because he didn't do a good job. He still won 10 more games this season than they did last, too.

I have it all figured out.  Dolson said he was going to follow the Cignetti model for hiring the basketball coach.  The model was someone born in Pennsylvania in 1961.  Jay Wright.
