I know it won’t happen at all, but for the the fun of it, I’m assuming it would have been a leak announcement today or something. Which wouldn’t make sense, as the Celtics are playing at noon on ABC. And they would probably get the whiff of it first if there was a signed contract.

I don’t think coaches have that hectic of a schedule from the time the season ends until the end of summer when they can practice with the team again, especially now in the NIL era.

Church is over and now waiting for church leadership meeting to start. Spent all service praying for Brad Stevens (not kidding what so ever…..) and after church I got a call and the caller id actually said bandwidth.com. lol. I’m taking that as a sign it’s Brad and we purchased more bandwidth for everyone to get on board.

What channel is the press conference on. I forget.

We will have to watch all platforms, TV, websites, social media. If I didn't know any better, I would think that Isaac works for Fox Sports, is having contract meetings at 3, and needs to show increased traffic....

i think this is outside the box. Hiring an NBA GM to be a college basketball head coach vs just hiring one of the best current Baskebtall coaches is certainly different.

Curious why having Stevens lower on a priority list is mind blowing? Few, Pearl, Pitino, Otz Drew and the list can be longer are all here grinding and would do great here and to me are a bigger priority.

 

I would love Stevens if only to shut up all those who laughed at the idea he even entertained the idea. IF he is really interested in the job, really interested, then I think he can be great here and be a grinder.  I trust Dolson to vet that part out but it is a good point you bring up.

There’s the real hypothetical no one is thinking. This entire time it’s been his wife and kids forcing him to move to the Celtics and now back to IU.
