You might want to double check your math. He’s under 65%. Steve Alford has a slightly better win percentage. He’s had 3 great years the rest is just OK.

My son was playing in a game around 3rd-4th grade at Lafayette Jeff high school. One of the refs was a former PUke player and a REAL dick. Another dad and I are standing at the corner baseline by our basket. Other guys son makes a great pass to my son who makes the shot and is hammered, but no foul called.  Not one peep out of us except for the other dad claps and tells both his son and my son great play and don't worry about the no call, go play D. Ref turns around, stops the game and throws us both out of the game.  We were both left laughing and refused to leave.  After other parents all confirmed to the other ref nothing was said, they agreed to let us stay and watch...from the balcony!

All this, plus he’s a hypocrite who claims fans/media are part of the problem, IU just needs to fix its ways and then the wins will come.

IU simply needs to hire a good coach who understands college athletics, basketball in particular.

He never knows anything that isn’t public. Likes to say everyone else’s misery is their fault, but his own misery is the fault of the people he thinks are miserable. (Many of us aren’t at all miserable but have a frustrating basketball team.)

So my best guess is this is riffing on Goodman’s BS report, May extension, Trilly’s Otz extension rumor*. But it seems possible he’s saying they struck out 3x with the same candidate.

Yeah, I've seen him lurking and has liked a few things and thrown in a couple small comments, but no info.

 

Idk I just feel that is very telling for me. IF they are truly telling big name people to shut up....they aren't going to do that just to hire Ben McCollum or TJ Otz....that's only for one name. I know there are quite a few things thrown around, but the fact Jerry has been so silent and even made a comment about BehindTheBench talking so much just seems very very telling to me, but maybe I am crazy
