You might not know this but I'm curious...say that we had an offer to Stevens and he came back with "I need $12 million total annual compensation. In addition, you offered me an $8 million NIL budget annually but I need a promise of $10 million roster annually". Is it your understanding that if IU secured those things (guessing that is a VERY easy sales job to donors with that kind of money), Brad would then sign? In short, was this a "give me this and I'll think about it" OR "give me this in writing and it's a deal"?

Genuine question - who would be in communication from our side? I can’t imagine it’s our AD so maybe someone like Jordy or Calbert, but even then it’s possible the new coach doesn’t retain those guys.
