While anything is possible the mover-blocker system is kind of in his DNA. I'd be shocked if he changed his system. Although, their championship run they did seem to run at a slightly faster pace and that team certainly had some horses. I have no data to back that memory up though.

Listened to the Hysterics space while cleaning the kitchen, as Rabby intended, and I will say Eric shared something I found  reassuring.

He said that no IU third party has even reached out to Buzz Williams or his circle. Eric also said Cronin is out. If we agree that Williams and Cronin are tier three type hires, and that we aren’t even talking with them, then Dolson must have a pretty good guy already locked up. 

Anyway, it helped quiet my Friday night case of the Brownells.

He’s put quite a few quality guys in the NBA: Hunter, Murphy, Jerome. They’re all or about to get paid. So he always had horses. I think the pace is the pace.

I don't even really care about pace. Much more concerned with efficiency. An offense isn't good or bad because the pace is slow or fast, it's whether their efficient. 

UVA's title team maybe played at a slow pace, but that was a very good offense and was very efficient.

I see all the names mentioned and a lot from power 4 conference team and I just go back and look at the recent hires of top programs. You just don't see many coaches leaving a power 4 conference for another power conference jobs. I just hope a lot of our fan base aren't expecting a big time coach leaving their current job. You might see a Big 13 coach leave if they don't think they will have their net to compete.

I would do that before Brownell for sure. I worry Dolson does obsess over experience a bit. We will know soon!

Next coach who has not been mentioned… Avery Johnson!

-Available immediately, so checks that box.

-Coaching experience in a major college conference, although with lackluster results. Did go to one NCAA tournament, so checks that box.

-Was a better NBA coach, with 3 seasons of 50+ wins, so can relate to recruits what it takes to get to the league. Checks that box.

-Would make Crean look like he was in quicksand on the sidelines. So there’s that.

-And most importantly, was known as “The Little General “ as a player. That’s almost destiny, would bring the program full circle, and harken it back to its glory days!
