Hey - we might have a chance with Stevens for all I know. But the most clearly obvious explanation for a trip to South Bend, 3:15 minutes from Bloomington, is that a parent was visiting his kid during the school year and got to hang out with one his absolute best friends Micah as a bonus.
I don't like this terrible explanation! It may be the case though

That's as big of a reach as Cody Zeller becoming a gm or assistant coach because he's been tweeting more about IU and went to a game.

How is that a reach lol?

So just to recap: we have heard this morning from people who claim to have some sort of inside information:

- It's Brad

- It's a small name coach who will be announced next week

- It's down to 6 people and Mark Turgeon is one of them

- It's going to be an African American candidate

Anything else I am missing?

The cracks are cracking but which cracks are the good cracks and who is just smoking crack?

Let's just say that it's not going to be Stevens, May, Drew, Beard, Pearl, Oats, etc. Take away those names, who do you all feel are the 5 most likely candidates outside of that list?

Brownell or Mark Few

If he were not on a Celtic plane or one owned by someone affiliated with IU that would be a little telling yeah?

If not a Celtics plane and if not an IU affiliated plane, then not sure what that says. It probably says nothing. Maybe was just visiting his kid.

The fact that he was decked out in ND gear tells me he most likely wasn't scouting the game, was there as just Dad.

He could have been scouting elsewhere earlier in the week and then swung by to see his kid? Who knows? Could he a ton of different things (including an IU thing).

So I’m not saying Brad Stevens couldn’t be the next coach at IU. I’m just simply stating that going to his son’s game, which every father would do, isn’t a very good indication of what’s going on. Now if Jerry, Chris, RtZ, and so on, say Brad had a sit down with Dolson somewhere, or even a zoom call.  I’m all in!

Did you see RTZ post from like 3 hours ago?

Chuck Surack is a major supporter of the Jacobs School. Not sure he is a major athletic department booster. He also owns an aviation company, so putting someone on a private plane is not a major thing for him to do.

Surack is also a Northern Indiana native and a major booster of Notre Dame.

So you're saying Stevens is going to replace Shrewsberry at the end of the season?

Fudge that noise. That's how we hired African American (except not) Kelvin Sampson.

This is troll music.

I think the word you're looking for is "minority." Minority.

Person of color would also have been accepted.

Thank you appreciate it. Also, no one else takes the shots I do on a daily basis. Probably just means I post too much. We all want IU to hire the best coach possible.

It stands to reason that one takes the shots most often when they’re over the target.
