Dude, it's Hornsby. Most of his posts are so over the top ridiculous. It's what he does.

He's probably hoping the hire will be Bronwell (who everyone else knows as Brownell) so he can continue his schtick.

I’d guess he feels his path to the NBA got seriously derailed this year and he and his family are worried.  He’s so gone.
It’s too bad.  He seemed like a nice kid and I liked his academic strengths.  He appears to have been chewed up by Woody’s bad program from what I can tell.

Another five star bust under Woodson. Will probably do well with a different coach.

I 100% expect it to be bronwell or someone like him. We have already crossed off like 5 names probably because they aren't pure. Stevens isn't happening

Why does it bother you so much if people think IU has a chance of landing Stevens? You do realize that what happens on this has no real effect on the coaching search, right? So people wasting time talking about Stevens doesn't mean IU is wasting time trying to get Stevens.

I think it’s just that everyone wants insider info and for the first time in my life I have it but nobody wants to hear it because it isn’t good news and that drives me crazy. That’s really it. I’m sorry for the abrasiveness. Will try to be better.

On this note-

Cronin, who I don’t care for, seems like the most likely guy that is employed.

I don’t believe the Drew stuff is reasonable or that exciting really.

Missing Dusty still pisses me off, but he’s not completely shut off in my mind.

I’m excited to see who it ends up being. I’d love to know which coaches agents are contacting Dolson… (which is a huge benefit of knowing early even though KathywithaC disagrees). Biggest job of the off-season, and open early to plan accordingly. I guess we will find out within a month if Dolson has the goods.
