I think we can all agree on the basics. Someone that brings a culture of playing their guts out on both ends. If not a55 meet seat. Then, identifying and getting the players that fit that culture, hs and portal. That has to be our foundation.  

 

Give me Pitino until he retires. He'll right the ship. I would trust him to recommend his successor.

Mike Davis might have been the best human being to hold the coach position at IU,just not so great at some of the other stuff a coach needs.

Don't know if someone already responded. It quotes Sam Story from way back when, I think before his actual name was revealed. He was in the Chicago area at the time, don't know if he's still there, he posted on boards under a handle, as an 'insider' type, he would share info he'd heard from time to time. I no longer recall what recruit it related to. It has lived on, in infamy, as one of the funniest kind of coy insider - type info-reveals ever. (Sam is a good guy , I used to trade pm's with him way back when I was a mod.)
