I'm leaning more that Brad won't be the coach most likely but still don't know. Also want to state I like Sam a lot, he is a good dude and has always been super nice to me. But I know for sure we have been working on Brad, and communicating with him for a long time. Where it doesn't add up for me and all of this took place before the 14th. From my source's booster side of things, we offered him a contract, and he thought about it and countered it. With the counteroffer, Scott had to go back and ask certain people for more money. That all happened before or on the day of the 14th. Then the Goodman info comes out and things have been super quiet since. I find it very hard to believe that all of that info I have heard from many others on here is all bull and we only got a 5-minute Zoom call. But as I always say I've been wrong before Agree with all of this. I also enjoy reading Sam's stuff, but he's right as much as he's wrong. I call BS. Not to say Stevens is "the one", but no way if Brad/Scott's relationship is as deep as most say this was a 5 minute formality Zoom call. It just doesn't add up. Popular Post Demo Posted February 25, 2025 Popular Post Posted February 25, 2025 Dolson’s a smart guy and with basically a year to prep I find it impossible to believe that the plan is a guy who ain’t comin’, a guy who ain’t comin’ and a guy who probably ain’t comin’. Sure, take the big swings if you need to, but then get into your actual process and nail down your guy. And it’s gonna take a minute. The downside of Woody not making it to the end of the year is the giant information vacuum that we’re going to spend the next 6-8 weeks filling with our angst and insanity. But they’ll get a good dude. They will. Not concerned about the size of the name. PartyintheVillas, BGleas, thebigweave and 21 others 23 1

Home Jersey Posted February 25, 2025 Posted February 25, 2025 Gotta give you guys credit. After the past two seasons I just can’t get myself to parse every bit of available info and try to piece together a narrative that understands what’s going on right now behind the scenes. Just passing the time til the end of the first weekend of the tournament. If we don’t have news in exactly a month I will start getting a bit concerned. BBTB Posted February 25, 2025 Posted February 25, 2025 I have a question why is the -IU basketball called a fishbowl ? I don't recall that being said about any other school unless I am totally out of the loop ( like say Duke or UNC ) 8bucks, Chris007, CSP and 1 other 4
IUHoosierJoe Posted February 25, 2025 Posted February 25, 2025 I don’t remember who posted it right after the Woodson retirement was announced, but one of our insiders said this coaching search will feature a lot of denials, smokescreens, and misdirections. Certainly, that seems to be holding true. Probably many more to come before it’s over. BBTB, JPCIVOP, Chris007 and 2 others 5

Popular Post Uspshoosier Posted February 25, 2025 Popular Post Posted February 25, 2025 IU is the highest profile job available. It would seem the AD would have had plenty of time preparing for the coaches exit since he was close to leaving last year. If you think he put his eggs in one or 2 baskets knowing the job would become available I think that the wrong read of the situation. With it being the best available sitting coaches are going to want a shot at the job. That can’t happen until after their season. My read is the AD has well thought out plan on who he wants to coach next year and he has had plenty of time to prepare that plan. In my opinion he will be going after a high major coach with Midwest ties. If they say no then he will go with a mid major coach with Midwest ties. If the coach is not playing in the tourney then it will be announced after the conference tourneys and if he is coaching in the ncaa tourney it will be announced a couple days after the loss. Popular Post Ctf9 Posted February 25, 2025 Popular Post Posted February 25, 2025 The key thing about May, if he’s the caliber of person we all think he is, isn’t the new buyout but the comments he made after the deal: "I think it makes it obvious: I'm staying at Michigan," May told CBS Sports https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/dusty-may-michigan-agree-to-contract-extension-amid-indiana-basketball-coaching-search/amp/ I have no idea how IU or other candidates factored into this, but he’s clearly not coming now.
