This comes up a bunch but I don’t know the context. Who can share?

Sam Story likes to come in with one liners and riddles and word salads. Yes he can be privy to things but the way he dishes his info is odd

he mistakenly responded to a comment with “Calhouns health is the word” that made no sense in the context of anything that was being discussed. I think he just made a mistake but it stuck

First, as I have said many times I have not heard of any deal being in place. I'm leaning more that Brad won't be the coach most likely but still don't know.

Also want to state I like Sam a lot, he is a good dude and has always been super nice to me.

But I know for sure we have been working on Brad, and communicating with him for a long time. Where it doesn't add up for me and all of this took place before the 14th. From my source's booster side of things, we offered him a contract, and he thought about it and countered it. With the counteroffer, Scott had to go back and ask certain people for more money. That all happened before or on the day of the 14th. Then the Goodman info comes out and things have been super quiet since.

I find it very hard to believe that all of that info I have heard from many others on here is all bull and we only got a 5-minute Zoom call.

But as I always say I've been wrong before

Agree with all of this. I also enjoy reading Sam's stuff, but he's right as much as he's wrong. I call BS. Not to say Stevens is "the one", but no way if Brad/Scott's relationship is as deep as most say this was a 5 minute formality Zoom call. It just doesn't add up.

So Sam Story is the Riddler?

It was a reward for a nice season and Dusty was never going anywhere.  He doesn’t want a fishbowl job.  It’s better for all that he stays at UM.  Not a good fit here imo.

It could be but I don't agree with that from knowing some other things that happened last offseason.

Didn’t say it did. It changes Dusty’s interest in IU. He didn’t need to sign an extension mid season, he chose to. If he was in bed with IU he wouldn’t have signed it

There are 4 possibilities

IU has their man

IU was never interested in Dusty

Dusty was never interested in IU

IU has shown interest but not absolutely and Dusty signed a non prohibitive extension for financial security.

But a meager pay bump and 1 more year did not does not" he’s signed a big extension and almost all but eliminated" make.

Very possible that Dolson does have his guy and that Dusty was never the #2.

Gotta give you guys credit. After the past two seasons I just can’t get myself to parse every bit of available info and try to piece together a narrative that understands what’s going on right now behind the scenes. Just passing the time til the end of the first weekend of the tournament. If we don’t have news in exactly a month I will start getting a bit concerned.

Dolson’s a smart guy and with basically a year to prep I find it impossible to believe that the plan is a guy who ain’t comin’, a guy who ain’t comin’ and a guy who probably ain’t comin’. Sure, take the big swings if you need to, but then get into your actual process and nail down your guy. And it’s gonna take a minute. The downside of Woody not making it to the end of the year is the giant information vacuum that we’re going to spend the next 6-8 weeks filling with our angst and insanity. But they’ll get a good dude. They will. Not concerned about the size of the name.

Are you sure about that?

What if we hired:
