No, but i have pissed next to Dolson before at the Barn a few years ago. Not only do they put their pants on just like we do but they also shake just like we do, incredible.

And hopefully after they’ve washed their hands.

Instead of a head coach and assistants maybe Dolson is looking at the big ten retread experiment. A combination of Tim Miles, Mark Turgeon, Richard Pitino, and Pat Chambers. Others in consideration would include Tom Crean, John Groce, Steve Alford and Chris Holtman. Special advisors Gary Williams and John Beilein. Still need someone for the GM position.

Can we talk about the fact that Woodson gave a scholarship to the guy in the lower left corner (Dallas James) and he hasn't played one minute?

Redshirting?

Ha, just kidding. Considering he barely saw the floor at South Carolina State (35 games / 7.5 min/game in 4 years), it was expected he wouldn't get PT at IU. His father is Jerome James, who played for the Knicks, so Woodson probably gave the scholarship as a favor.

Has IU ever had a worse scholarship player?

I'll even qualify that if necessary. Has IU ever had a worse scholarship player who wasn't a walk-in who was gifted an "extra" one-year scholarship that was available?

The fans are the last thing holding this program together so I agree the fans aren’t the issue. That said, there is a debate about Cronin and his remarks after their loss the other night wouldn’t sit well with IU fans. He essentially blamed the fans for their poor shooting. It was odd to say the least

That's not odd for Cronin - he has a long history of things like that.

But that's exactly the issue... and why hiring Cronin at IU could be problematic - especially as the administrations answer to the past 4 years of the Woodson Entitlement Era.

There were some pretty bad ones under Crean, especially towards the end when he got in desperation mode and threw out offers to anyone with even a weak pulse.

Yes I think there are much better ways to frame the sentiment than Cronin did. Conceptually though I do think sometimes it makes sense for coaches to “check” fans as long as it doesn’t come off as resentment or something. 100% agree on needing someone who can coach the fans too

I haven't followed Cronin or UCLA... so the question I have relates to context. Have the fans consistently  booed the team in similar situations? Have they generally been supportive of the team, and this was a "one-off"?

Compare this to Woodson at IU ... the toxic booing didn't happen until he completely crapped the bed this year ... the fans reached a point of frustration where we had a $6M payroll and were losing by 30 at home  to Illinois ... from where I sit, it appears to be a vastly different situation in LA than here in Bloomington.
