Not saying May is not a great coach, just can he do it year over year. His sampling is small, but he is showing signs of a guy that can do it. If we end up with him, I will support it and hope he can sustain the same culture at IU.

Truthhurts Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Just wanna say I think it’s unlikely Turgeon is a legit candidate, but also wanna point out that it’s hilarious everyone is quick to jump on someone and dismiss what they’re saying when it’s something they don’t want to believe, even though Turgeon rumor is way less outlandish than believing someone is gonna leave the Boston Celtics for a college job. Why do people keep using 4-5yrs with Pearl? Pitino kicking butt at 72 going on 73. Belicheck just hired in football at 73. I have no issue, and he was high on my list for sure but after looking at some others I just like the longer-term possibility for the future. If IU hired Pearl, I would not be upset at all.
