Michigan actually has a much larger endowment than IU with more donor power...but...do those donors want to use it for basketball is the question?

Football is king up there, so probably not. I’m pretty sure Howard complained about the basketball support when he was there.

I would hope we aren't crazy enough to pay a $16 million buyout for Mick Cronin, he's not worth that plus the contract he'd get.

I say that knowing we hired Mike Woodson so the bar is set pretty low.

It drops to $12M after the season and there has been mention of a loophole installed in the contract.

Just an FYI

Personally I think Michigan will lock him up

They can try... they can draw up and extension and ask him to sign... but the tell will obviously be what Dusty does... he has a contract with UM, so he doesn't need to be in a hurry to re-up, especially if he truly is interested in the IU job...

Dickinson left because of it and they are strict transfer rules.  They had Terrence Shannon signed and Caleb love and both went elsewhere because they couldn’t get in

Yeah. Either way he's going to be getting a raise. Will be interested to see how much Michigan gives him in the end if we can't pry him away.

I’ll say this, if Dusty ends up winning the Big 10 Championship, Donors are definitely going to lock him.

Mike White UF to UGA . Inexplicably, 3 years ago UGA "stole" a middling at best Mike White, with no discernible offensive philosophy and meh results to finish 11th (6-12) in the SEC the last 2 seasons and is 4-9 now. The poor Gators had to scrounge around and hire Todd Golden.

This transaction led to us getting Reneau -- for better or worse.

He had committed to Florida, but backed out when White left for Georgia. Reneau and Hood-Schifino were teammates at Monteverde, so JHS just brought him along to IU.

Georgia fires Tom Crean. Mike White goes from Florida to Georgia. Malik decommits from Florida and picks IU. So in essence, we can thank Crean for Reneau ...

It drops April 1, 16m until then.

We'll need a coach by then.

Yep. It’s hard to win on the road in the B1G… the King told me that.

Dusty should show Woodson a map that shows him where the hump is. The hump just happens to be at Woodsons house.

You go away on an ayahuasca retreat and come back to this. You guys have been getting at it. It is hard to catch-up.

Just know that Brad Stevens will be our next coach and you’re all caught up.

That’s a good pull. He was as hot as anyone and then just dropped off the face of the basketball planet.

If I remember correctly he and his wife were both a problem.

I’ve been away for about 6 hours and no new “tea” but only this creepy Barbie meme? Lol

McDermott who someone on here said he needs to stay at the mid major level is currently coaching on FS1 in a sold out Madison Square Garden against Rick Pitino for first place in the Big East

Saw the last part of that game. No disrespect to Creighton, but he looks like he could improve at a place like IU that can attract big time players.  Get over the hump, so to speak.

Kind of. She was an obnoxious drunk that was an embarrassment at games.

He had a laundry list of verbal and physical abuse allegations from former players and coaches

Creighton is up there with its basketball support.   They are 6th in average attendance while IU is 7th.   He has recruited  pretty good over there for the Big East.    We can thank him for Edey at Purdue.   Kalkbrenner chose Creighton over Purdue and recently he beat out IU for Mason Miller who I don’t think got off the bench today unless he is hurt.  But i agree a change could energize him and kids and more importantly shooters would flock to his offensive system
