Somebody call Brad and wake him up! We need to know if he's still considering us!

Nope.  Not going to bother him.

He's finalizing the response to Dolson's offer.

And working on his acceptance speech.

It starts with: Two score and seven years ago, The General brought forth upon Indiana University an undefeated team.  It is about time to bring that back, dust it off and get another.  The first in a series!  Let's play some great basketball and hang some National Championship banners!  Who is with me?

Note:  He says nothing about getting over a hump.

Because he’s called RMK a “father figure”, had RMK signature on his ole Miss 1/4 zip and then quoted RMK during a halftime interview. I also believe he would win big time here, as I think many do. Of course he will win a poll haha

The average age on the Rivals board is pretty high and they love Chris Beard and constantly lament that he isn’t being considered.  That place is an unmoderated mess too — not a good time.

That is one of the places I have never ventured too. Sounds like I don’t need to give it any thought ha

I like coyle though. He tells it like it is about the program and has on good guests.

I discovered message boards back in the 2000's. I never felt inclined to post on Peegs because it was just a weird group. It was full of trolling Purdue fans, and every IU fan would respond to trolls with comments like "5 banners, nuff said" or "win some banners then get back to us." It was always banners, banners, banners with them.

I am surprised to hear it's basically unmoderated now. Back in the day it was ruled with an iron fist, and you were looking at a lifetime ban if you criticized Bill Lynch in any way. The Purdue board (GBI) was an unmoderated sh*thole and probably still is.

The football forum is pretty good, there are three or four insiders that post very good info and there are some mods.  The basketball forum is a war zone — fights, trolls, etc.  Part of the issue is there is a political forum full of crappy nonstop arguments and the animosity spills over into other forums.  It’s an even weirder place post-Peegs.

I started here a long time ago. My first venture into boards. Then went to Peegs. Wasn’t bad at first, but once Pegram left, it’s all went to ****. The only reason I still have Peegs is because my children live off paramount+ and it comes with Peegs subscription. I’m basically rolling with this place and discord now. I’m over at HSN too but usually on check it every so often.

I remember that we would be missing the tourney but they spounded their chests with the banners comeback. But even our 1987 banner was old by that time.

Not sure why they have that stupid political forum it just leads to guys going after each other on the sports forums. They would be smart to get rid of it.

Agree but at the same time he's kind of a moron. That and he doesn't listen to his guests. He's always finding comments to display on the screen while they answer his freaking questions. He was both good and an abomination throughout the football season this year.

I don't listen to him everyday so it's easier to stomach.

I’m surprised more folks here weren’t on Inside The Hall back in the day

I was. Took a break from message boards over the last couple years due to complete mismanagement of the program. I’ll be a lot more active again depending on this hire
