Everyone, we have several days/weeks left until anything gets closer to a resolution I think.  To get us through, maybe we need a schedule.  That way some people can actually get our work done and only visit during their preferred times.  Sorry Chris, you are still required to refresh every 5 minutes to answer questions that you already answered 5 pages back for the 5th time because no one wants to go back and read the 20 pages that just posted in the last hour. (I'm guilty as charged right here)

That is in part what went wrong. Discussions about numbers isn’t necessarily a closing sign and Dolson believed that it was and that throwing big numbers at him would change the fact that his family was never on board. It was never going to happen and we wasted a lot of time and indirectly led to us hiring Woodson. Dolson not understanding the situation caused a lot of people to move/react/get involved and there was never a need for any of it.

It seems like it would be easy enough for Stevens to be eliminated quickly if he either 1. wasn’t a realistic option or 2. Doesn’t want to leave Boston.

The fact that this has continued, to me, seems to indicate it’s a real possibility. Stevens and Boston don’t need a week of pretend Stevens/IU negotiations to hammer out a new deal. There is zero reason not to shut it down immediately. Boston, IU, and Stevens all know Stevens has all the leverage he wants or needs. There is zero logical reason to string this along, unless he is actually considering taking the IU job.

I’m good with all of those guys. I think McCollum would be in a 3rd tier probably. We will have to really be dumpster diving for a while before finding a candidate I think would do worse than our current coach lol
