LOVE the hire.  Average record of 24-10 in seven years and 26-8 in his last four years at Drake.  49 years old, so a guy who is still on the young side of coaching.

And he's an honest to God X and O college coach.  

Typically in the first year at a school, the offense is more about talent than coaching while on the defense it's more about effort.  West Virginia was 15th in defensive efficiency this year.  He gets his kids to play.

MVC way down this year. 17/18 players who made all-conference last year either graduated or transferred out. Should have been a two bid league.

Just one guy’s opinion but at the time I was disappointed in both Arch and Woody’s hires, though I could squint and see the vision.

If it’s DDV? I’m actually excited.

Honestly its impossible to compare Arch etch, given the NCAA landscape back then vs now is like talking to someone who is from the 1970's...

Yeah, the MVC got picked clean last offseason. I'm not a McCollum hater by any means, but that league stunk out loud this season.
