He obviously should have made it, got absolutely screwed by the UNC AD.  In year 1 at a school that only won 9 games the year before.  Use your ******* brain just a little bit.

Some fans of a program with 1 winning conference record in 9 years are going to turn their nose up at a coach like DeVries that in year 1 at a high major beat on the court Kansas, Arizona and Zags.    These same fans watched IU lose to each of these 3 teams by 20 +.   Go IU

Don’t mind DeVries but can’t help the feeling that he was way down on the list. In the end, winning matters. And years from now, we may look back at this and say, damn straight. But, was looking forward to a big wink hire.
