The difference being that today or tomorrow could be THE day, and he is one of only five or six possibilities that could actually appear in Bloomington today or tomorrow.

OK trying to get caught up. The deal was done 2 days ago, but its not done yet. The coach's name starts with a B, but Devries is the top candidate. A space ship has been sent to pick up the new coach, but he's still in the tournament. Its a big fish, but on the smaller side. What have I missed? Wnk, wink...

This is true but Goodman putting this out makes me think it's more agent peddled stuff. We know DeVries is closely linked to Iowa. The clock is ticking now. Could very well be leverage to get higher salary and/or better NIL guarantees from Iowa.

Could definitely be wrong. DeVries wouldn't be a terrible hire for IU.
