Hornsby Posted March 11, 2025 Posted March 11, 2025 Nope. If he’s out, I don’t care what happened. Or what never got started. Or where it fell apart. Time to move on. Yesterday morning he was in. Then he was out. Last night he was back in. Now out and we are hiring a guy who made 4 ncaa's in 14 years. May as well of kept Woodson and I cannot stand woodson.Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk

Yes, the football coach generates the most income, but Woodson was hired by Dolson. We can argue that he unofficially hired by Buckner, but on paper, he was brought in by Dolson. If he fails again, that's 2 bad selections in a row by Dolson at "flagship" sports position at IU. I also think Cig has taken some of the pressure off of Dolson's hire of Woodson. If/When Cig's team starts to lose a few more games (as it will when it plays a tougher B1G schedule), more people are going to pay attention to Dolson's basketball coach selection(s). I wouldn't. Football > basketball.... by a lot Tough B1G schedule that included Michigan, OSU, Nebraska, and Washington? Next years looks only marginally more difficult but no one on there as talented as OSU/Michigan last year. go iu bb, Home Jersey, Stuhoo and 1 other 4

I don’t particularly want Schertz, but I will say this—I saw Saint Louis play very early in the season and they were a train wreck on both ends of the floor. While still not a great team now, they have improved more during the season than maybe any team I’ve seen this year. Over 100 Games, str8baller, JPCIVOP and 3 others 6

Some things are just not adding up yet. More checking. But I have to be at the golf course this afternoon. One last round with Woody :-) Could someone explain the signficance of this to me like I'm 5? Wouldn't this just mean that IU is planning/hoping to have an announcement by the 17th? They want people to be at work so that they can take advantage of the announcement to take in more donations? It doesn't matter who the new coach is, they should expect some kind of bump in donations to the program, right? rcbowla and pumpfake 2

It’s called “poetic license.” :) And that wasn’t necessarily aimed at you, as several people have mentioned it. Either way, his offenses at Creighton don’t pop off the stat sheet compared to his predecessor(s). If there’s something there Xs and Os wise that distinguishes his time at Creighton , I’m all ears.

I'm not saying he isn't a very good coach, because obviously he is. But last season isn't necessarily going to be repeated, so Dolson can't bank on that (literally)... They've upgraded the roster for the 2025 season. They'll battle in every game and I see 4 games up for grabs at worse. Everyone else on the schedule IUFB will be the favorite. You would think - unless there is an previously unscheduled event (i.e. announcement) then you wouldn't ask people to be available in a very common vacation period - kinda stuff that would annoy people if nothing happens.
