monskisprodigy Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 In that highlight video, who is #1 for Indy with CJ? Kid looks like a pretty solid PG that can attack, pass and shoot. Quote

I think IU has taken a look at him but his current offers are IUPUI, Ball St, Miami (OH), and Kansas State. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted June 26, 2021 Author Posted June 26, 2021 FW Snider destroyed Lawrence North 85-60. 6'3" Aidan Lambert dropped in 52 pts. for Snider. Gunn with 25 for LN. LN lost a lot of firepower and will be interesting to follow the team this season and how much Gunn steps up his game. WayneFleekHoosier, Hippopotamo and HoosierAloha 3 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted June 26, 2021 Author Posted June 26, 2021 Charlie Hughes Shootout -- Indiana-bound guard CJ Gunn with 15 in Lawrence North's win over Gary West Side. Jalen Washington with 24 points to lead all scorers in his first game in about six weeks. From Dustin Dopirak: Impressive moment on defense by C.J. Gunn, who got up and blocked one of Washington's shots even though he's giving up a good bit of height. Washington's clearly the best player on the floor, but Gunn hasn't backed down when he's ended up on him in the Lawrence North zone HoosierAloha, rayl456, Its Always Sunny at IU and 1 other 3 1 Quote

Today, this from Landon Bundy of Prep Hoops - Hearing it is a broken wrist for 2022 Indiana commit, CJ Gunn. Big loss for Indy Heat for the rest of the summer. Rabjohns - Indiana 2022 signee CJ Gunn suffered a broken left (non-shooting) wrist during play in the Peach Jam. He will be out 2-5 weeks. He fell on his left wrist when he was bumped on a drive and put out his hand to brace his fall. Crimson and Cream, Evariste Galois, ALASKA HOOSIER and 1 other 1 3 Quote

IUPUI and that level a better fit and UIndy or Marian would be better. Having coached a lot against him and having seen true D1 kids, he's not quite at that level. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted December 29, 2021 Author Posted December 29, 2021 This would have been a game to watch but sadly it wasn't streamed. Omar Cooper of Lawrence North picked up 2 techs. Head coach Jack Keefer assessed 2 techs. Tindley wins 88-79 but what a first game for C. J. 34 pts (15 in the 4th Q); 6 reb; 3 stl. With the firepower LN lost from last year's team, we all hoped this is what we'd see from C.J. and he didn't disappoint. And a name to keep in mind in the future is Lawrence North '25 PG Azavier Robinson who had 10 pts and 6 reb. HoosierAloha, craigyv88, mamasa and 4 others 7 Quote
