WayneFleekHoosier Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 Yeah, teams that suck are happy to see coaches leave. Indiana and its fans have found themselves in that boat too many times in the past 20 years. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
Popular Post Feathery Posted July 12, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 12, 2019 Ostrom is the top recruiter on staff. He took over as lead recruiter for Romeo and then we started to trend for him. He was the lead recruiter for both TJD and Franklin this class. He is a must have on staff imo. moyemayhem, BtownStrength, mamasa and 7 others 10 Quote

I’ve also read that Archie is more than willing to take his time with the hire so he gets the right guy. As long as he hasn’t been hired. This is correct and part of why we would wait. The other part is if we pull a regular assistant he won’t know enough about us or our recruits we are after. You don’t want to send a new guy in to fail when he has to know handlers, coaches, and family of specific kids. Being unprepared is a bad recipe for July. Popular Post Chris007 Posted July 15, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 15, 2019 I'm pretty sure everyone will love one of the finalists for the job. He checks a lot of the boxes like previous assistant coaching experience, recruiting experience, knows Bloomington. My one question is will he and his family put in the time to be great in coaching as he did as a player. Stuhoo, Hoosierfan2017, JaybobHoosier and 21 others 21 3 Quote
