cappymo14 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 I feel so good for the guys man. They needed this so badly. Just a couple days ago they just looked so defeated, so beaten. They were getting abused by every conceivable Indiana media outlet. Social Media was un-viewable, with every spelling challenged, redneck lobbing insults at the kids and coaches from the couch. Even here, some tried to take things to a full on Facebook fan page in the game thread, with all the crying back and forth. This is the biggest win of the last 2 years, and I can’t tell you how or where it came from. Maybe it’s really just as simple as guys hitting open shots when they get the opportunity. I thought they’d have to win in regulation but they showed fight. I thought after Green threw it away towards the end of OT MSU would get the win. I thought after Durham was ridden and hacked MSU would find a few more buckets...Winning is so much better than losing! Hopefully, this is the turning point for this young team. This is more what I thought we’d see in the Big Ten with the team hanging close and scrapping some wins. We need to appreciate this win but go out and fight like hell in the next one. Wins aren’t going to come easy for this team. You can’t rest on what you did last game. The next game is the most important but enjoy the night in East Lansing!
