I have no doubt he HAS told him directly.  But once again IMO, Crean wants to come off to EVERYONE including fans,that aren't behind closed doors like he is "the man" and has it all under control.

I can just see it now. Glass will wait like 3 weeks. When anger is coming to a boiling rage to hear something he's gonna send out a quick press release halfheartedly saying Crean is coming back and saying how he's excited for the future or something. This would be prime Fred Glass.
