Some follow-up on the Fletcher incident with Tyrique per Niz: Indiana football defensive tackle Tyrique Tucker tried to congratulate Miami's running back Mark Fletcher Jr. with a hand shake after a 27-21 win in the CFP title game on Monday night at Hard Rock Stadium. Fletcher stunned Tucker with a sucker punch. "I was just trying to congratulate him on the game," Tucker told The Herald-Times. "He tried to sneak me, everybody kind of held me back. That was a cheap punch. Luckily, we got the win, I'm not really too worried about it. He's salty, he going home with the L." lol. You're damn right Tyrique.

Hey btw, real life Miami fans (not the ones on twitter all week fighting with the idiotic Indiana burners) are excellent people. Sat next to 8 of them in the IU section and it was as pleasant as could be. Friendly banter all around the stadium. Their fans kept congratulating IU fans on the way out. It was an incredible atmosphere.

ONCE AGAIN…… 3/4 of the Gameday dicks were wrong!!

Indiana won a title in football before Purdue won a basketball title... LoL

I love all of you on this board! Thanks to each and every one of you guys that have been here since day one. This is the kind of nights we can all dream of no matter what sport.

Credit where credit is due. And a lot of credit is due here. I think we've got to congratulate Scott Dolson, the AD who played a huge role in this College Football National Championship. - He raised $15M to move on from Tom (yea he did give him an extension in 2021, but who wouldn't?) - He identified Cig - He convinced Cig to come here - He led an unprecedented and enormous increase in football resources - He kept Cig at Indiana despite several traditional powerhouses wanting him badly. In fact, of all the coaches in the coaching carousel this season, Cig took his name off the market the fastest (~48 hours) - IU is the National Champion in the biggest college sport and this is the greatest turnaround in college sports history Great job Scott!

Just saw a stat that we NEVER TRAILED in the playoffs. We led for 145 minutes out of a possible 180 minutes played... 35 minutes tied.

It's going to be so fun rewatching the game knowing that we win.

Not sure what to say. Just extraordinary. And to think that 25 months ago a fair number of us, raising my hand, thought this was just a stone dead program and no one was gonna want the job. And the Mendoza touchdown is this generation’s Keith Smart shot. Will never, ever, be forgotten.
