I just can't see UCLA making a legitimate push for Garland here.  Let's just hope it doesn't make him forget how great of a visit he had last weekend.

I would expect some other schools to start parading their recruits across the court if they’re not doing so already.

Only if the school can fill their gyms with enthusiastic fans that actually know who the recruits are and acknowledge them. They can try, but the Hoosier fans are hard to simulate.

It won't work everywhere. Schools are not allowed to announce recruits, or put their face up on the big screen. The genius of what Archie did is he trusted the Indiana fans to know exactly who it was walking in front of them, and the Indiana fans came through. In a big way. That wouldn't have happened even at North Carolina, when Romeo's father said in interviews afterward that the fans didn't really know who his son was. There aren't many places as passionate as Assembly Hall.

Who knows I do know that he is a Nashville native and use to coach high school basketball there and was an assistant at Vanderbilt and during his playing days played at Lipscomb which is in Nashville. Maybe that’s what he does or maybe since he is tapped into the Nashville scene maybe he heard some news that changed his mind

Actually, I think he has my take on it. We both believe they will both come. We just choose to be cautiously optimistic because in the end they are going men that can change their mind.

Nothing wrong with either approach IMO. I love your Absolutism and 100% confidence. Unfortunately, having been burned too many times in life, I choose the way I look at this situation.
