Garland's dad told Rabjohns that it was an "awesome, awesome home visit" and that "we can't wait" for the Assembly Hall visit. Archie and all three assistants were there.

The staff are definitely all in. Just my opinion, but I feel better about this recruitment than I did a month or two ago.

Way better! I wonder if his mom is trying to pull him to Vandy. Again, it would be difficult to be the BMOC with your mom working at the university. For some reason I don't see him ending up at Vandy.

Sorry if this has been covered a lot. How does Garland fit in with Phinissee? I know Garland would be a better pull for Romeo but would we see Phinissee as more of a 4 year player vs. Garland being a 1 and done?

Maybe some Vandy push from mom, but Darius's dad is a born and raised IUBB fan!

It's about time to get a little more optimistic about this recruitment.

The "distant third" talk just doesn't seem to be true in my opinion and sending a full staff to an in-home visit sends a pretty strong message. Evan Daniels says this is a race between the three of us and he believes it is pretty close at the top. Hoosier Hysteria is a BIG night for Darius and Romeo. Can't wait!

The coaching hasn't made any mistakes so far other than missing on Bazley and Johns so I trust they will knock it out of the park during Hoosier Hysteria. 

Is it really a mistake when you miss out on a kid though? Who is to say we were what the kid was looking for?

I'd say it's only a mistake if you do or say something (or don't) that completely flips the recruit away from you.

To add to this, Brian Snow said that he received a text saying we made up some major ground from this home visit and that we'll be in this until the end.

Definitely sounds encouraging!

This is what a lot of people look over. Sometimes a coach can do and say everything right and it just may not be what the kid wants.
