Just a thought I had recently, who do we think was the last recruit we were this worked up on. Bryant was my initial reaction, but I'm really not sure.

I'd say Wilkes just because how long we invested in him. And he was from more of our territory to boot.

Much like the highlight videos.  We watch a 2-3 minute clip and start drooling, "I want him; I want him"  Like IUgradman said, no parent is going to bad mouth a school that may give their kid a free education.

Shittu is visiting October 6-8th. Vandy that is. I have heard soft rumors of all 3 playing there together. It would be 3 5 stars together sigh. This weekend is a lot bigger than anyone is making it out to be. Vandy is officially in the IU and U of L part if Garland is able to convince Romeo to strongly consider. The atmosphere at Vandy has been awesome this year due to the publicity their football program has generated. I still like that we get both on a visit like Vandy. If they seriously wanna play together like I believe they do just haven't made too many comments about it, I believe it could end up being us and Vandy for both. U of L doesn't worry as much as they did 2 weeks ago.

I don't see why folks make that out to be a big deal. Especially for bright kids like Romeo.

If he turns out to be a lottery pick he will get a shoe deal with anyone he wishes. If he falls and is just a good player going into the NBA I doubt adidas is going to say well since you went to an adidas college here is a shoe deal.

Hate to say I told ya so but Evan Daniels reporting Garland is pretty much IU vs Vandy. Romeo's interest is real. I have heard Garland pretty much single handedly got Romeo hyped on Vandy. Also heard IU became a big player once they both knew they liked what Archie was selling. I have a feeling we get both. Well more than a feeling. Vandy is the only school I am really worried about.

Rabjohns has said multiple times they aren't a package deal. They both may like IU and Vandy, but not because the other is interested in both. They also both may go to the same school, but they're making independent decisions.

It's also very possible that Garland picks Vandy and Romeo picks Louisville. Maybe both want to stay close to home. But I do know that I feel very good about one of them coming to IU.
