In my eyes, if they win the National Championship, should be in contention as a Blue Blood

I don’t know. They’re weird. They’re never good except for when they win it all. Blue blood sure. Do I want IU to be them, yeah. Are they a blue blood IDK. They certainly had the least fans in stadium tonight

Problem with UConn, I can see them win the tournament and then dip for 7 years

I disagree.  Blue Blood means sustained greatness.  4 programs have NCAA titles in 4 different decades.  IU, UNC, Kansas, UK.  That's it.

UConn is Nuveau Riche

UConn might be nuveau rich, but at this point IU would get on the ground to pick up the change falling out of their pockets.

IU doesn’t even belong in the discussion with those other programs.

IF your standard truly defines Blue Blood, UConn would achieve the status with a win:

1999 - 90s

2004 - 2000s

2011, 2014 - 2010s

2023 - 2020s

And you left out Duke. So, with a win Monday night UConn tops the Dookies?

Can’t help but think this tournament has an impact on thinking moving forward. You had 1 and 2 seeds that looked middle of the pack and a four seed (same as IU!) dominating the tournament and everything in between.

Woody would probably have to recruit down in the 150-200’s to find kids as hungry as those on San Diego St.   overlooked and chips on shoulders.  Works for some programs but not for all.   Patience would be needed by all involved.

San Diego St. is a grown @$$ mans team!
