Just realized this. I assume others feel the same way. We don't really face ascrambling QB again this season as of now. There are some guys who can run a bit, but not like Jackson week 1, Nebraska QB, or Carr, Glad to have that in our rear vie mirror right now

This is not directed at you (or anyone in particular), but annoys me so I am going to rant about it. I have heard several people, including announcers & commentators state "IU struggled against mobile QB's." Spoiler alert, EVERYONE struggles against mobile QB's to some degree. There are 0.00% of Defensive coordinators that will ever think or say "I love facing a really elusive QB!" or "I wish this statue we're playing this week was much quicker and able to get out of the pocket."

Of course if a QB can only run and is a terrible passer, that is another issue, but definitively a mobile quarterback is a problem for any and all defenses forever past & future.

Thanks, I feel better.

Wyatt left the UM game with a leg injury.  Hopefully it’s not too long term.  Davion hasn’t played since the OSU fumble.  Still overall not too bad knock on wood.

You think Chandler is hurt or something else?  Wouldn’t think they would hold him out just for a fumble…I know that’s game changing but that would seem extreme. Hopefully Wyatt isn’t long term. Need him for stretch run.

....pretty big fella behind center. We've got to keep pressure on him.

Drake Lindsey is a classic, big-armed pocket passer who fits the traditional, pro-style quarterback archetype. Standing at 6'5" and 230 lbs, he is not a dual-threat quarterback and rarely relies on his legs to pick up yards on the ground.

Minnesota’s offense is structured around a strong rushing attack, reliable wide receivers, and an experienced offensive line to support pocket-passer Drake Lindsey. Under head coach P.J. Fleck, the Golden Gophers lean heavily on play-action execution, using their playmakers to stretch defenses.

Their rushing game…..sucks.  Averaging only 100 yards per game and 3.4 yards per carry.

From the way Fleck talks he is high on their running backs. But it sounds like their o-line is their buggest issue, their pressure rate givenup isn't good.. Which our d-line is our biggest srtength

I’m kidding.  Just trying to scare people this Halloween season ;-)

I was about to say an over/under on how many times he will refer to himself in the third person while he is on.

What does this clown know about football? Probably less than he knows about coaching basketball. This alone makes Game Day a hard pass for @AZ Hoosier (see what I did there?)

Adewale Ogunleye is the top choice for Gameday, and after that it would be Anthony Thompson or Antwaan Randle El.  Antwaan has a game in Seattle this week, so he might not be able to.

Seems like it would be Mellencamp. Or maybe he’s too old

"What about my man, Trent Green?"

It’s Isiah.

I woulda gone with Zander Diamont; he's historical IUFB personified:

  • Under-recruited.
  • Didn't win much.
  • Not big enough, strong enough, or fast enough.
  • Smart and salty.
  • Successful in life; just not at football.
  • Loves IU even though the football program was a hot mess.
  • Spent four years running for his life to avoid being squished by UM and OSU.
