What were your big complaints?

I have seen this on a couple of sites.

The one RPO fake that Mendoza barely carried out and was drilled, I wasn't very happy about. I thought it was overall pretty fair, though.

They missed personal fouls against Mendoza all night. They missed about 20 holding calls on Miami and their non-calls on several clear pass interference calls showed me that the fix was in. The inconsistent roughing call against Beck vs what Fernando had to put up with all night. We won despite that BS.

And that cheap hit on Mendoza after the handoff was clearly targeting, despite the no-call.

This 1,000,000%.

The targeting hit on Mendoza was a definite miss.

Other than that? Of course there were missed calls that were to IU's detriment. And if you were watching the game with U Miami eyes there were missed calls that were to Miami's detriment. The game is so fast and there is so much happenning on every play.

The refs were just fine.

Nah…the only way Miami could compete with IU was leveraging their Dline and olines.  So that means a game where they’re not calling holding in the secondary completely shifts the game allowing their Dline to get home. In a game where they call it tighter, we dink and dunk their soft coverage all game.

The hits on Mendoza were ridiculous. Don’t even need to ask me. Ask Cig. And  then them miraculously getting one to extend their potential game winning drive when we have them backed up is completely ridiculous. That call doesn’t get made in a regular season game or any game where Patrick Mahomes isn’t involved.

Also the spots on 3rd and 4th down in their territory that led to a scoring drive were generous and not even reviewed.

If that game gets officiated differently IU wins by two scores, at least.

Cig at the day after presser with Fernando, Coogan, Aiden, and Mikhail.

Cig starts by stating that one of the players on the podium still hasn't gone to bed. It's clearly not Kamara - he looks bright eyed and clear headed.

Coogan sounds pretty messed up. Fisher has barely spoken and Fernando is a less ebullient Fernando that I've ever seen him.

I'm going with Coogan - really rough voice and he's wearing a hat to cover the aching stanky head.

Iowa would’ve played in the conference championship game if they were in the SEC.

I think the could be made that Iowa came closer to beating us than anybody.

They lost their QB and we made some plays.

Id argue that Penn State only got back in that game because an official got in Ponds way.

But Iowa had us dead to rights straight up.  Only game all year where I thought we would lose

He was such a key part of this team. To think Maryland said we have no room for you and he was forced to move on. What a humble, great kid. So many on this team will be missed. Such a pleasure watching them play this season.

As a parent with kids in sports seeing his dad crying in the background got to me. That joy as a proud parent

They were a couple plays from being in the playoffs or better. It was a tough spot for us going on the road after the Illinois blowout but they were a good team, I think.

Roman Hemby on freaking Good Morning America

What a great kid, from a great family. He gets misty eyed talking about his parents ... and as Dad is tearing up, Mom starts to as well.

And then I do. LOL.

There’s so much garbage natty merch out there.

I am the grizzly bear diving into every can and eating it up.

Same. I’m haven’t reviewed the receipts yet but I’m pretty sure in a drunken state of mind I ordered a pennant of unknown size (could be five inches or five feet) and a knockoff helmet.

I have no idea what is arriving. Just waiting on the wife to see the CC bill

Perks of being the CFO of the family, I can just rattle off orders of unknown price from every semi-reputable website my thumbs find.
