WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Feels good to have a desirable program in the portal era, particularly with a staff that can REALLY ID what they want and talent. Fun times. The turnaround to ‘emerging superpower’ is already here. J34, thebigweave and Banksyrules 3 Quote

IU5355 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Several good offensive lineman in the portal today including Michigan's center who was all conference. WayneFleekHoosier, 8bucks and DChoosier 3 Quote

Pagoda Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Sounds like Sorsby to LSU. That program somehow got a little more unlikable. I guess his (ex)girlfriend enrolling at TTU didn’t seal the deal… mamasa and Deserthoozier 2 Quote
RoadRage Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Probably a stupid question, but any chance Indiana going after a big name QB could affect Fernando negatively? I mean if he believes Alberto is next in line, I worry bringing in a top prospect QB might not sit well with him? Quote

I don’t have any intel on this, but one way to look at it is per Cig the player retention and future plans discussions happened the week after the BTCG. I would guess the QB room plans were known and in place before the Rose Bowl, which as we know went well. Maybe I’m wrong, this dynamic crossed my mind too, but this is why I’m not too worried. And the opportunity is so big Fernando wouldn’t let his team down even if he disagreed with the QB plans (and who knows how he or Alberto actually feel). 8bucks, HoosierReb01, thebigweave and 2 others 4 1 Quote
