It’s crazy to me that a 2028 (2028) TE from Indiana already has offers from Georgia, Florida, Texas Tech, Alabama, Oregon, Iowa, Wisconsin etc.  

Was he dominating games as a freshman?  How has he stood out to such an extent that he also has a PU offer!!

Still a local boy! And he plays basketball, of course. 31 points in the 2025 Brawl for the Ball Tournament Championship game. Not bad for someone balancing their body type between basketball player and O-lineman. Offers from Grand Valley State, Hillsdale, Bulter, Western and Eastern Illinois, U of Indy.

Staff has been heavily investing in recruitment of Illinois. Lots of D1 talent near Chicago and I believe it will continue to pay off.

Not that rankings really mean much, but with the obvious eye for talent Cignetti and the coaching staff has and the team's success, I expect that unranked or lower ranked recruits will get bumps in ranking just because IU is recruiting them. Maybe the rankers will think they're just missing something or look more closely and see something there as well, but they'll probably give them a bump.
