Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Paywalled story on AZ St RB Raleek Brown. Still to visit 'Bama and Texas but his comments on his IU visit were maybe a bit more positive than you typically see. Quote

JerryYeagley23 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Sorry if already posted, this thread is moving fast. But, saw on another board, On3 prediction with 100% confidence for Texas frosh WR Parker Livingstone to IU. Stuhoo, dwtaylor1055, Brass Cannon and 3 others 6 Quote

We have five receivers that currently play, and four that play a lot so I suppose it’s entirely possible. oh my. skhoosier2, Hollywood Mike Miranda, Napleshoosier and 1 other 4 Quote

JSHoosier Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Marsh, Becker and Livingston would be a heck of a receiving core. If Cooper comes back, wow. Quote
str8baller Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Seems unlikely we’re doing this with anything approaching a normal NIL. I’d really love to know what is going on behind the scenes there and who is stepping up with all this cash. Home Jersey 1 Quote

They will either be satisfied with the results or hungry for more. This is where I feel Fernando and the "likes" are right now.....jmo Quote

He'd be a late/taxi squad add in the NFL at about $225k, and would make quite a bit more at IU while having a ton more fun and finishing his degree. Would be an NIL-stay in school best case scenario. Worth noting; if we have Marsh, Becker, Cooper, and Livingstone (Wow), it's not unlikely that Morris, Bond, and/or Chandler would be portaling. cybergates 1 Quote

IU didn't really have it this year and truthfully have been lucky that they've been able to avoid injury. That would be a big boy WR room that IU just isn't used to. Quote

Hovadipo Posted January 6 Posted January 6 At worst Cooper is a late day 2 guy unless he just bombs testing. He’s listed above Sarratt in big boards I’ve seen. I’d be kinda floored if he’s back. And that room would be insane. Jeff Flabjohns, Demo, AkronHoosier and 3 others 6 Quote

With his frame, how good a contested catch guy he is and how well he runs after the catch, he’d have to run, what, probably 4.7 to not go day 2? Is there anything Michael Pittman Jr does for the Colts that Cooper doesn’t do? Hovadipo and Stuhoo 2 Quote

Hovadipo Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Last pick of the 3rd round (Xavier Watts, ND) has 1.1 mil guaranteed on a 4 year/$6mil deal. More likely than getting the #1 overall pick back to school (lol) but I have Ty Fryfogle-induced PTSD of a guy passing up a big and falling on his face. Quote

Jeff Flabjohns Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Carter Smith feels like a more likely returnee than Coop. Though both should go if they’re gonna get drafted by the 4th round CSP 1 Quote
