Popular Post DChoosier Posted November 10, 2025 Popular Post Posted November 10, 2025 Program is headed in the right direction. I closely watched the assistant coaches near the end of the game and all of them appeared to be wide awake!! Quite refreshing vs the last few years. A few years back when we got our doors blown off by UConn at the Empire Classic, I was sat right next to their bench. They were engaged the entire time. Their trainer running jumping around the end of the bench and even talking some smack to me in an IU shirt. The contrast with the IU bench was so stark. And it was always like that. Not even lackadaisical... but asleep (sometimes literally). This staff is super engaged like UConn's and good college staffs. There was one point today, can't remember which part of the game, where we were hustling on D and the staff got on their feet cheering. Then all IU fans did the same and it really lifted the team. Love that we have a veteran group of players in year 1. And a highly professional coaching staff to lead them. GloryDays, DChoosier, HoosierHoopster and 7 others 10 Quote

HoosierInParadise Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 A few mistakes, but I thought he and Enright did a great job overall. Only 8 TO in a 77 possession game against a full court press is outstanding stuff. And two of those, TD dribbled off his own leg/foot. Great control of the ball all game long. Nice to see. Quote

I swear there was a pic of them together once pre-game, it was probably when Knight returned but can't find it anywhere. Stuhoo and Home Jersey 2 Quote
Hoosier987 Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Finally! We have shooters. Great game. Amazing we put up with such bad basketball for so long. Quote

FortWayneHoosier Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Listened to it on the radio while running errands today off an on, in and out of my truck. Sounds like we really hammered there defense and broke them down. Our 3 point shooting was money and we picked up a lot of fouls. To me dropping 100 on a team that is well coached and been very good for a while now…you would have never saw this with the last 2 coaches. I think we got the right guy! Popular Post Stuhoo Posted November 10, 2025 Popular Post Posted November 10, 2025 There were some signs from Jasai Miles today that intrigued me. He really moved his feet well on defense—seems like even though he came here as a scorer, he’s tentative on that end; looking to avoid mistakes. But he showed signs of athleticism and effort today and he could be reinvented as a multi-positional swing man. Until today the game has looked way too fast for him; today it appeared to slow down just a little. hper50, woodenshoemanHoosierfan, mike vannice and 9 others 12 Quote
Stuhoo Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Portal additions assessment to date: Tucker - doesn’t count; the coach’s kid. Enright? 100% awesome get. Love this kid at IU. Lamar? OH YES!! Bailey - Not seeing it. Sloppy on offense. Alexis? OH YES for sure Conerway? Yes; more than some think Jasai? Until today looked like a no; but maaaybe. Harris - so far a big ol’ no, and that includes before the injury. Drake- who the hell knows OVERALL? Pretty damn good Home Jersey and Five Prime 2 Quote
Five Prime Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 I'm a bit concerned with our ability to match up athletically against longer and quicker teams, but man is it nice to see an IU basketball team that can shoot the rock again! Wilkerson is awesome. Whoozhers 1 Quote

HoosierHoopster Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 SIAP but 8 assists and 2 steals by Wilkerson to go with his 23 points, most of which came in the 2nd half. That’s the guy who shined out here for SHSU — special player. Devries went all in for him— and landed a Hell of a plater DChoosier, MikeRoberts, LockdownD and 4 others 7 Quote

I could be wrong but can’t imagine that has happened very many times in recent past. the fact that one of our best scorers was one of those is a great sign! HoosierHoopster and mamasa 2 Quote

Been a Shriner since 2011! We brought in 17 new Nobles. Twas a grand day, and weekend, capped by the Colts and the Hoosiers winning! MemphisHoosier and pumpfake 2 Quote
