According to this Evans is out for PSU. Sarratt and Fisher sound likely.

No mention of anyone else.

Hopefully Benson will be good to go. I know he came back in but I doubt his ankle is feeling good today.

Cig stated that there were no new injuries this week, and that Evans and maybe Sarratt would be the only two players to monitor. So that should mean that Benson is fine.

The difficult thing for me is that I remember all those years of wanting IU football to be good and it just never really happening. I know this is different. I can see it with my own eyes. And yet, going in to PSU scares me because of the perceived legacy. IU is a great team with no obvious weaknesses. IU is at the top of every measurable category. I need to expect that IU will go to PSU and do the same thing to them that we have done to just about every other team on our schedule.

Get on these guys early and make them quit. I can't see Penn State scoring 20 points on us. If the offense can get us that, which I expect, it SHOULD be a W much like in Iowa.

Important to remember that 7 of Penn State's 14 points against OSU came because of a short field.

I'd compare Penn State football this year to say, our 2016-2017 IU basketball season. Came in hyped, started off okay, and it got ugly real fast. Think how Assembly Hall was that year in February. Probably not as intimidating. Same with what I expect out of Beaver Stadium on Saturday. It'll be loud I'm sure in the beginning. I just can't imagine their fan base is all that excited for this game.

Indiana State goes to South Dakota and upset the 5th ranked Jack Rabbits 24-12….so if that can happen IU to beware of Penn State, Wisky, and Purdue….Which IU focus has prevented that from happening to them thus far.

The CFP committee chairman (who, by the way, got his masters at THE Indiana University) must hate Penn State.

It took me a second. But yes interesting comment. We only have 1 common opponent.  By the end of the year we will have 4. We get to play all the remaining after OSU.  So Cig knows what to do.

Beat PSU by 50, Wisconsin by 50 and the Purdue we should just break the scoreboard

Based on Cig saying Evans could be out for a few weeks I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see him until the playoffs (and hopefully then).

When I was young I might have been maybe 1st or 2nd grade the ticket wasn't even for me but I believe it might have been homecoming maybe. My dad has a friend who is a Penn State fan they use to work together it was suppose be my parents and my dad's friend and his wife who were suppose to go to the game together pouring down rain so mom decides to sacrifice me and have me go instead. Had a blue tarp and a box of Mike and Ike's with us. I barely even remember the game.

It’s a new way of football life to look at IU point spreads.  Each week IU is favored by approximately 2 to 4 tds…..It’s just flipped over from what the past once was traditionally.  Often IU covers the spread.

(Working way out of most college football losses category).
