He's 68 years old. Perfect time for a change. skhoosier2, Jim IV22, monskisprodigy and 29 others 32 Quote

It's time to move on. I understand the nostalgia part of it, but at 68 and being a Doctor, it is time to retire. Like to give him maybe more than a day or 2 notice, but it is time to get some fresh blood in there. IU has one of the biggest, if not the biggest, medical teaching systems in the country. I believe they have someone who knows what they will be doing to replace him. Fisch has a couple of more years left till he his playing golf during the winter every chance he gets in Florida. Assistant under McCasland at north Texas and then he took him with him to Texas tech. Also has served as a director of recruiting under Bryce drew at Grand Canyon. Coached at sunrise academy, a basketball factory that churns out D1 players. Has been a quick riser in the coaching ranks. It feels so cutting edge and modern to hire a coach with connections in CBB. Next we'll hear the IU athletic department will replace their rotary phones. It's making my head spin. Quote

Man, that would be huge if true. I watched him on the sideline in Alabama's last 2 games. Very active with the players. I hope this is still true but Alabama is already pulling portal signings so IDK. Quote
