Something Osterman has mentioned a few times is the idea of incorporating Transfer Fees (gaining program compensates losing program) similar to European Soccer - I doubt it will gain steam in the States in the immediate future, but it is an interesting idea.

It will be interesting to see what the rev share contracts look like.  NIL deals are obviously private, but for public schools I'm sure journalists (or forum posters) will FOIA the players' rev share contracts.

There won't be transfer fees, but perhaps we see buyouts in those rev share contracts.  That would be a good thing imo -- some compensation for the school that developed the player, and it makes transfers a bit more costly, which could reduce the number of transfers.  I don't think the buyouts will be large, but just having those in there would be useful.  We'll see.

In general, I'm glad players are getting paid, but as part of that I'd like to see the employee/employer relationship professionalized more than it is now -- as is contracts that look like the pro ones.

Ole Miss S Louis Moore returning to IU, per 247.

Nice to have him back. He realized how good we became and especially with Coach Cig and Co.

Captain Obvious here….”Good players want to play on good teams with good coaches!”

Seems like his production dropped this year. Any ideas why?  Crowded safety room? Injury?

Injuries really derailed the season for him.  Outside of the Florida game, a very unforgettable season the young man.
