Offense hit shots. In doing do, looked pretty good.

 

As a said a month ago. Gallo needs Carlyle’s minutes. Leal needs Cupps and some of Goodes (his defense is brutal) minutes.

 

Team is SO freaking lost on defense it’s as bad as I’ve ever seen at the college level. We make catastrophic decisions every possession. If this isn’t fixed, we won’t beat good teams ever.

Snap reaction - I want more Goode and Hatton on the court moving forward they do the little things that move good clubs forward.  Consider me worried (nervous?) about Carlyle and Rice, I'm just not seeing it with the pair...

Has anyone dug into Mack's +/- in various lineup combinations?  Anecdotally I saw a lot of Goode directing & coaching him on the court, and I am curious if the stats supports that observations.

I agree Today. But Hatton and goode were to slow to loose balls against better teams. Hopefully that can improve!

Kenpom ranking is 52 after this game. We were 38 entering this event. Offense went from 39 to 48 and defense went from 31 to 64.

Ok I got busy cleaning house and went to cut wood with about 6 minutes to go. Wanted to say we suck and rebounding and getting to 50 50 balls! Our defense overall was atrocious! Way to many uncontested drives to the basket cause we were lost. Way to many good looks from 3! Keep staring gallo and let's stay active on offense like today. To get better we must improve in those areas. Not sure how you improve getting to loose balls but Woodson needs to figure that out. Hatton is becoming a pleasant surprise! Hopefully he can keep it up! I know this season won't be what we want I believe that's over but maybe Woodson can get us back to competitive and get our hopes up again!

Torvik has IU at 42.  They were at 28 entering the event.

So just finished watching the recording of THE BATTLE FOR THE BIGGEST LOSER.  It was nice to see MM, Gallo, and MR make shots again, but it's hard to get excited about any of this.  At least we didn't lose it all.
