Putting in a “crystal ball pick” for Kamara returning to IU for his senior year.

In the NFL, 2nd rounders make $1.5-2.5M/yr and 3rd rounders are about $1.4-1.5M/yr.  I don't think all of that is guaranteed (obviously NFL players can be cut).  With the rev share starting, I'd guess we offer him $1-2M, which is guaranteed.

I could be wrong, but it seems like college ball can be competitive with the NFL once a player drops to the mid-2nd and 3rd round.

It would be awesome if he comes back!

Anyone have a K-pop crossover on their IUFB bingo card?

Edit: For the unaware the singer goes by the stage name IU.

Following this for the last 24 hours has been hysterical. Very similar to watching Swifties fall in love with the Chiefs and learn about football. We need to get our new army of K-Pop fanatics to go in on Herbstreit.

Didn't look like Tennessee would survive in the B1G.

I guess this is the world we'll have to live in as we push to get better in football.  ESPN/Kirk, Paul, etc. shilling for the conference they have a contract with or just saying things to try and juice ratings.  It's not good for CFB, but unfortunately it is what it is.

Dude can pathetically shill and debase himself all he wants. An 11-1 B1G team got in. Hate to break it to him and Herbstreit , but if they’re11-1 next year they’ll get in again.

The thing is I'm not sure Finebaum even believes what he says. He may have at some point, but now he takes advantage of a low IQ but passionate fanbase that will parrot whatever he says. To be honest, it's probably a good business model for him, but it is just rage bait for the opposition and he gets clicks from it.

Stephen A., Skip Bayless, Cowherd, etc. I know it makes me sound old, but I do miss the days when ESPN commentary had substance. But I guess that is not what sells.

The only thing we still have that’s been the same quality for literally as long as I can remember is the Around the Horn and PTI block. The PTI guys used to be considered the hot take artists. They haven’t changed a bit and are now the most sane people on the entire network.
