This is a time when an Individual (Head Coach and Staff, Players, and all involved) accomplished everything He/They said He/They were going to do.

what a fall it has been in Bloomington.

Didn’t Coach Cignetti say He/They were going to be Big Ten Champs 2024 and National Champs January 2025???  JUST SAY’IN.

Worst case scenario, we lose to OSU badly, how far do we fall in the rankings?  Good news is we play Purdue the following week so we can potentially make up some ground should someone else lose.

My biggest fear vs OSU is whether we can get the offensive line healthy. If they are then I feel we have a chance but I did not like how Michigan blew our offense up in the 2nd half.

Good to have bye week to get things in order including OL.  After tuneup I don’t think Ohio State will not do quite as much as Michigan did to OL.  Throw the ball deep.  That’s what Oregon did.  (Include it in game plan more than normal).

Much worse IU teams have hung with better OSU teams in the last ~decade.

Our offense took a took a dump in the second half against Michigan, but it’s not like we weren’t moving the ball against them, and we were still going up top talent in the country.

The first half was a fine offensive performance, and I’m confident that will be the version that shows up against OSU.

My biggest concern against OSU is how much holding they’ll be able to get away with. The refereeing for Michigan was terrible. Maybe that’s just trauma speaking as a long-time IUFB fan…

Oh look, the IU grad absolutely making the  argument for a 3 loss SEC team getting in. I’m telling ya, I don’t care where they’re ranked tonight, if IU loses to OSU they’re not getting in.

While I tend to agree, let's not forget that Heather Dinich is an ESPN employee. It might sound a little conspiracy-esque, but since that network has much bigger contracts with SEC and ACC than Big Ten, I think they push those products more heavily. Very similar to how ESPN didn't give a damn about hockey until they signed a contract with the NHL in 2021.

ESPN scheduled the playoff show for 8:30 but the 6:30 game is running beyond 2 hours.  What an unexpected shocker!!!!!!

You would think ESPN would have learned, after experiencing over 15,000 of their early games running past the tip-off of the next game,  that the 2 hour window doesn’t work. Stupid,

Miami at #9 off a loss to Georgia Tech tells me we have no business missing this thing at 11-1.

Bingo. I'm thrilled with tonight's ranking. Even if IU gets blown out I can't see them getting left out if they are 5. They jumped Tennessee which surprised me. I was wondering if BYU would jump IU. I think the committee likes this Indiana team.

Tennessee faces a must win at Georgia. I think they get left out if they lose Saturday. 10-2 Bama and Georgia get in. With Ole Miss beating Georgia I think they get in too.

If these brackets hold, which they won’t, OSU would love the draw. Boise State followed by Miami would be a relatively easy path.

Between the CFB video game (seriously, it was a great way to see the CFP play out 5 months early), projections, and now 2 weeks of rankings, it’s been pretty clear for a while to me that the 5 seed is taking the gravy train to the semifinals.

Tennessee Georgia is fascinating. It should be an elimination game yet I’m not convinced it actually is.

Agree...am I crazy to think this...is it better to lose the Big Ten Title game? You'd be #5 seed. Probably play Boise State at home and be a heavy favorite. Then play ACC or Big 12 champ (which could be Colorado) at a neutral site.

#1 seed probably plays an SEC team at a neutral site.
