They’d have to be impact guys who could contribute right away. We still need to add 2 reliable players to the rotation. You can probably stash/redshirt Karvala and Manhertz next year, but I don’t want to see a Ristic and/or an Acimovic added to that bunch.

Does anyone have that roster tracker where we can see the eligibility of each player? I guess it’s more a chart than a tracker and it’s in columns like freshman sophomore junior senior

On paper, this looks like a legitimate top 6 in the Big 10 type roster. I didn't think IU had it in them to get this talent in the door.

Props to Dolson, Devries, and Carr. Also much gratitude to the NIL donors. After years (decades?) of mediocrity, its impressive to still have this much support.

The big task now is making all the peices fit. Cautiously optimistic, but IU basketball is still in the "show me first" category.

Would hold a spot or 2 until portal closes just to see which agents purposely have their clients enter later.    Unless you want it done and over with i would at least hold a spot until it’s officially closed

I wonder if Lyndsay played through an injury because usually kids don’t regress In their state like he did from freshman to sophomore. Then if you look at the beginning he was killing it then had a drastic fall off then in ncaa tournament had a great game again

I’m with you completely. Get some high upside, low cost European players like Illinois has or use the last two spots on late portal entries like you said. At this point, it’s going to be hard to get a starting-level player. This is where the scout becomes extremely important. No deadweight!

Bossi said IU just started talking to Lindsey yesterday when his camp said he was still in play and not committed to USC. IU likes him alongside Burton and in case of any guard injuries. Also his relationship with Kenny Johnson played a big part.

Speaks to our staff's ability to connect with guys.  Obviously money helps. But to be able to lock down a guy in 24 hours who had other good suitors speaks volumes. 

KJ's relationship helped a ton I'm sure; but Devries obviously has some sort of sauce to be able to close quickly on a guy he didnt have a relationship with.
