I think they’re going to want mustaf’s defense / rebounding out there. I could see Harris though, I simply do not get the hype. I think he’ll be a sporadic but good shooter but he’s just so weak with the ball and will be a sieve defensively

Really uneven effort and a ton to clean up, but nice job rallying and still gritting out the win against a tournament team. Shout out the freshmen, hopefully Darian trusts to give them a few more minutes now. In fact the freshman most in the rotation seems the most prone to freshman mistakes.

I think we’ll just have to learn to live with some lulls this offense will have, and it will be easier when they can have insane bursts of offense. Just have to continue playing consistent defense and rebounding throughout and this will be a very good team

Someone also needs to tell these announcers that the ball just needs to be out of the players hand before the shot clock expires, the ball doesn’t need to hit the rim before the clock expiring. That would be an embarrassing misunderstanding!

I think that’s where our depth is going to be so huge this year. Darian isn’t going to start yanking guys as soon as they miss a shot or two because that’s completely antithetical to his coaching style, but it’ll be nice to have other options if a tertiary guy like Lindsay simply doesn’t have it one night.

Yeah a bit unknown with so much roster turnover for them too. Malone is a good coach and they got a few proven players from the ACC. They should safely be a tournament team but likely not a top 25 team
