    He was already granted an injunction for another year by an Ohio judge. I have no idea how because he played four years and the least amount of games he played was 18. Also played at 4 different schools and the summer league recently. I’d get over it obviously because this is college sports now, but this one is fairly “icky”

    It’s seems like they’ve had a different player be the early aggressor each game and no matter the level of opponent play, that’s really exciting. Will be a WAY more balanced team than last year

    Yeah I think I’d give him some time anyways. The ACC isn’t great anymore, but he was able to play in the ACC as a starter. I think he’s going to be in foul trouble a ton, but I don’t think he’ll be a complete liability when he is playing

    They might have the most depth at edge of any of their position groups. They’ll be fine without adding anyone. The two Kansas St kids and then Burnham / Ndukwe are going to get the vast majority of the snaps

    They should have a decent noncon SOS with the four power conference games, but unfortunately bellarmine and eastern Illinois are quite bad and will likely be 300+ on kenpom. No reason to be playing those games

    Yeah I think the framing from the uber wealthy is a gift (or donation, I’m not sure if they can make it tax deductible) rather than a true investment. At least in the relative infancy of NIL. It would probably get pretty tiring to be making a 10M gift every year lol

    It’s probably funded by Mike Repole who is worth well over 1B, so he probably just found the money in his couch cushions. It’s not sustainable in general, but I don’t think one offs like this bother someone like him who is seemingly a massive fan of the team

    No. Pretty much the only one who is still available is momcilovic and he’s not coming to IU. The others either already committed to a new school while also entering the name in the draft or returning to the school they were at.

    The video seems far more like a return announcement than a highlight tape. It was emphasizing IU and the caption is a return is coming. I know his first year here wasn’t great, but he was also not set up for success. He’s more talented than most backup ball handlers we’d find in the portal at this point. I’d be very cool with a reunion

    It was just a comment about him, not him being connected to IU. I believe he announced he was staying and then a few days later entered the portal so the conclusion there is that he was lured and has a spot in mind. Both from a cash and minutes availability standpoint, it would be very unlikely that spot is IU. At least in my opinion
