Yeah I don’t understand the sentiment that he’s not committing today from that Goodman tweet. Especially when the tweet says they’re the leader. There’s far too much smoke from last night in general to suddenly panic from a Jeff Goodman tweet

Rancik looks like a legit ball handler.  Not a high flyer, but a fluid athlete.  Looks like he has great vision for someone his size.  The 86% free throw shooting implies he could become a good 3 point shooter.  The low shooting %s are concerning, but the talent is there and he could have serious upside.

He reminds me of a less developed David Mirkovic.

To compete for a conference championship DD needs to figure out how to get us to hold our own on the glass. In the Big Ten I think that will require 2 bigs. Sherrell and Somebody. I didn't think Johnson and Mara would work. But we have proof of concept. I think Sherrell is a better Morez in a similar role. Reibe could be Mara maybe in this scenario.  Ultimately DD has never coached the type of talent or been asked to build an offense to feature dominant inside play. I think he can 

My gut tells me Tiller is disinterested in physicality. I could be wrong. Jmo

In conference---Maya avg 23 mins, Johnson 26--- Michigan played PLENTY without those two together on the floor.

Didn’t Goodman tweet out something similar for Burton early yesterday only for Burton to commit later that day? 
 

I agree with you, I take Goodmans tweet to mean a commitment is imminent, likely today.

fwiw it increasingly feels like Duke might be returning more guys than expected (another crazy thing about the K to Scheyer transition). They may not be looking to replace Ngongba but instead just Maliq Brown who’s graduating and was more of a role player. I think that’ll hold true for them elsewhere as well with Foster, Cayden, and even Sarr likely returning. They’ll be in the market for a big body role player and a couple off the bench shooters.

Not sure Reibe is any more interested in physicality. I don't see him being able to do anything close to what Mara did next year. But, I guess I didn't think Mara would be as physically imposing as he was this year either.
