These people are the real toxic fans that can cause problems for our program. Not the ones who are "too negative" because we've sucked for so long.

I try to be pretty positive around here, but that news would have came out eventually. A rando Twitter account trying to be an insider DMing prospective athletes is extreme loser behavior and is a bad look no matter the context.

Yeah that’s not exactly what I want at all. I don’t want people tweeting at recruits. It’s as bad as The Dorks sticking a camera in kids’ faces on visits when they were still allowed to be around.

This site is about as contained as it gets on the internet.

He's not reaching out to recruits to satisfy the interests of the posters and lurkers of BTownBanners. He is a blowhard trying to monetize a niche social media following on twitter with engagement bait and generally shameless behavior which is incentivized by that platform.

And yet here it is. I saw it here before ‘X’. You and I didn’t ask for it directly, but we are a part of a culture that feeds off of the kind of nuggets, morsels, and tidbits guys like him will go to whatever lengths to unearth.

He gets paid by Twitter for getting views and engagement. Naturally once it's gotten a lot of views there it makes its way to this forum. We're not driving that behavior. Happy to end the philosophical discussion here though.
