That said I’m not sure why he is reading waaayyyy too much into this signing. There are 11 spots to fill. We aren’t getting 11 guys that are starters. What we are getting in enright is a good passer and defender who knows the system.Appreciated. And that’s my hope. I hope he has an ace up his sleeve. DeVries isn’t a plus defender. Goode if he returns is a negative defender. People think Enright is a good defender, I disagree at the level of the B1G. He hustles. He flops. He gives energy but idk. Just not the lock down guy you want at point. Hoping he’s a bench guy we get a dawg to play point somewhere, somehow. Glad we got him...I mean, according to the transfer portal rankings on 247, he's ranked 127. The only former IU players in the portal that are ranked above him are MR (21), MM (59), and MRice (84). It’s just weird that people think this is a bad pick up. If DeVries has a bad year next year, we aren’t going to be saying, if he just didn’t sign that Enright kid, we’d be elite.
