Unexpectedflash Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Do people have a preference for federiko vs Miller? I feel like Miller has more potential but Federiko knows his established role as a rebounder and lob threat and has at least proven himself at texas tech last year Quote

JimmerNoe Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Just a brief glance but this guy seems like he would be a deep bench backup to TDV and Miles, is that the sense everyone else gets? I will never complain about loading up on the perimeter but we are getting a pretty full roster with only one 4/5. I know the staff has some bigs on deck but just interesting that we will probably have 7-8 guard or wing players before our second big commits. Quote

I doubt that is realistic. I think I lean Federiko because he knows his role and doesn’t need the ball to be productive. Home Jersey 1 Quote

Dorn put up similar numbers to Miles in a much better conference. Not convinced Miles is that much better than Dorn, if better at all, at least offensively. Not a bad problem to have either. One of those two will probably end up a deeper bench guy I would expect though. Agree you can never have too many. Quote

Really good for a big and seems to fit the DeVries system. Miller's a better shooter, too, as seen in threes and especially free throws. If defense and rebounding is close, I say Miller. Popular Post Chris007 Posted April 23 Popular Post Posted April 23 If the staff wants Dorn all they have to do is walk him up Eagleson (formerly Jordan) today. It's wild how many people are out. IvanRenkosillegitimatechild Posted April 23 Posted April 23 I think with how DeVries runs his offense we might only get 3 big men… Curtis and two additional over 6 ft 10 with alot of 6 ft 8- 6 ft 9 guys because most of the time Tucker will play offense at 3 and defense at the 4. He will play 30 plus minutes a game so there isn’t a big need for a ton of 5’s especially with Reed. It could even be Reed, Curtis, and one other 5 either Miller or Texas tech kid CSP, HoosierHoopster and thebigweave 3 Quote

Mobile bigs that fit the system designed to get out and run. Ah that sounds so, so much better and more fun that the last 4 years, and really 8. thebigweave, BGleas and IvanRenkosillegitimatechild 3 Quote
ebridges24 Posted April 23 Posted April 23 do we really have a shot with any of these bigs or are we just throwin' names out there? Quote
